Live the 2019 Organic Harvest.

 

During the harvest season between the months of March and April, Viña Las Araucarias opens up to this spectacular program where the protagonist of the vintage is you, you will be able to learn and experience the wine process from within, seeing in first person the process, where our harvest is picked totally by hand, like all our other processes.

Program

Visitors will be given scissors and a basket for collection

They will visit the vineyard where the harvest will take place, where they will be able to measure the brix degrees of the grape where they are able to see the probable alcohol grades of the wine, then they will be taught how to select, defoliate and cut the bunches.

After the harvest they will take the baskets to the harvest patio where they will be able to participa-te in the manual selection table and see the process of the de-stemmer machine and then see how the grape enters by gravity into our concrete vats.

After the process of showing them the organic boutique winery, where they can taste the freshly produced juice of the harvest, and can also taste other wines in different phases of the fermentation processes.

Finally they will be shown the barrel room and end the tour in the bottle room while tasting 3
organic wines accompanied by empanadas (a local savoury dish) from the house
